I’m quite sure skirts don’t work that way. I mean, even if these things were not fluttering up and being filmed from this angle, their underwear would still be showing.

There must be some deeper meaning behind this, but what? A post-modern commentary on the fetishization of suffering or violence? That would explain the weird blood+panties combination. Or maybe just an impressionist deconstruction of the semi-erotic magical girl driven to an extreme?

I am thinking this through way too much again, am I?
